Sandy Shoal Lighthouse Village Piece

This hand-crafted, hand-painted porcelain SANDY SHOAL LIGHTHOUSE VILLAGE PIECE introduced January 2011, is a lit building from the New England Village Coastal Lights Series by Department 56. Perched on stilts, this light tower can weather the fiercest of storms. A foghorn offers extra protection from the shallow shore line. 

There is something special about New England and its history that calls to all of us – whether we’re from there, visited and vacationed there or merely read about it in the history books and travel brochures.
